The Power of Pranayama: The science behind Yoga breathing exercises and how they can benefit your physical and mental health.
This 90-minute workshop will focus on different pranayama exercises for boosting energy and enhancing the immune system as well as breathing exercises that promote restoration and stress reduction. Students will also learn particular breathing exercises within the asana that may help deepen their posture by unlocking areas of constriction. This class will also include step by step handouts to take home and use in your own practice.

About Alex Brazinski:
Alex’s love of acupuncture and sports medicine began as a Division I cross country and track athlete. During his time as a runner, Alex suffered from several running-related injuries that forced him to seek help beyond the athletic training facility. He found that sports acupuncture medicine was the only effective and lasting treatment modality for his injuries.
Alex has completed his masters degree in acupuncture at the WON Institute in Philadelphia. He has completed certifications in Functional Range Release Upper Extremities (FR), Functional Range Conditioning (FRCms), and has studied Acupressure and Tai Massage techniques at the WON Institute. Alex is an RYT certified yoga instructor.
