In the spirit of Dharma Mittra's "Maha Sadhana” and united with education from my teacher Nevine Michaan of Katonah Yoga:
We will engage with depth of breathing, breadth of movement and the place where they meet in meditation (both moving and seated).
With the celebrations of the Solstice we will look to practices that engage with cleaning, particularly of the Liver and Gallbladder. Expect a deep cleaning of the organs through asana, particularly focused on twisting and other practices of wringing out.
Continuing with the spirit of the season. Yoga and Movement Sanctuary will be getting a little Spring cleaning and a paint job.
We are asking a $25 donation to help us in this process for attendance
(but if you can’t afford it and still want to attend, talk to me as work exchange can be made available)
